約95%以上的APL患者伴有PML/RARA融合基因，約占全部AML的9%。

M3分型的標志，預后好。

指導靶向藥物治療（全反式維甲酸和三氧化二砷）及療效評價。

產品用于定性檢測白血病患者骨髓樣本中的PML/RARA融合基因，僅用于初治病人的分子分型的輔助診斷。
